And yet – so many here complain that women refuse to go out with poor men, shy men, men with no self confidence, men who don’t do well at sport, men who are nerds, etc etc.

Sounds like a “blame the woman” thing to me. It’s not your fault, is it, that no woman wants to go out with you?
