Why would she lead me on?
My teachers assisstant?
I have this TA in my history class at college that I am very attracted to. I think she is attracted to me. One time in class she was walking around in class to each student and she was helping me and she kept leaning up aganist and touching my leg and my shoulder with her body. I like to go up to her and ask her questions and she always asks me to come to her office hours. She said she was that glad I came around to see her and I should visit her again. When I took the exam she was very interested and how I did and she didn’t seem that interested in anybody else. I have seen her around the library and for some reason I look at her and I walk past her but she seems like she is avoiding my gaze for some reason. I remember I was in the library and I saw her looking at me out the corner of my eye but when I walked near her she didn’t pay me any attention.
5 days ago I went to her office to talk about my paper that I just got back. I got positive body language signals from her and everytime I tried to leave she would ask me a quick personal questions. We had a kinda a long personal discussion. It was kinda awkward. I was very nervous around her and she could probably tell. She said that she happy that I came by and seemed please to see me.
She has a profile on rate my proffessor dot com so I was the first one to rate her and I said she was helpfull, intellegent and beatifull, it was ananymous however and she has plenty of students.I went into to her class and she couldn’t even look me in the eyes, she seemed nervous.Towards the end of class I asked about an assignment and she gave this curt and quick answer. I felt tension between us. It seems in discussion section she acts like I don’t exist and avoids any eye contact with me but when I am outside of class she is a different person.
I went to her office recently for another assignment and she seemed pleased to see me. She kept on getting very close to me and was always laughing and smiling at anything I said and staring deep into my eyes with that look, she also would just touch me alot during the conversation I was going to ask her out but I got the hammer because today she was flustered because something was wrong with her husband, lol wtf I saw no marriage ring on her finger before and I had looked and she was acting strange and she would look at anybody in the class room but me, and she kept on looking at the wall right near my head and the guy sitting right next to me? Lol I am not stupid, I am not going to talk to a married woman though

It’s possible that it was all in your head.
When we like someone, our eyes always look for even the littlest sign or clue that the object of our affections likes us back.
An example: one time in high school I had a co-worker who became very infatuated with me. I did not like him back in any way, shape, or form, but after rejecting him twice he still didn’t get it. He thought that I was leading him on but the truth was I wasn’t: I am a naturally shy person and I hardly speak to people I don’t even like. I never spoke to him much unless it was work-related, but he had these fantasies that I was giving him signs.
Fortunately I quit, so I never had to see him again.
